Parameter sweep
A parameter sweep runs many backtests at once — varying a stop multiple, a lookback length, a target R — and lays the results side by side, so you can see whether performance is stable across nearby parameter values or only good at one specific setting. A result that only looks good at one exact parameter and falls apart just next to it is a warning sign for overfitting.
