Average win (R)

Average win R measures how large winners tend to be, in R terms, ignoring every losing trade. Paired with win rate and average loss, it's one of the three inputs to expectancy — a high win rate with a small average win can still produce negative expectancy if losses run larger.

This explains what average win (r) measures. It isn't investment advice — see the disclaimer.
